Sands Beach Active Resort offers rooms across six areas, each with its own pool. Options include ground-floor apartments with kitchenettes, rooms near the 25m heated pool, and beachfront units with terraces. All rooms have private bathrooms, some with bathtubs. Select rooms sleep up to seven, with pull-out sofa beds and twin or double configurations on request. Beachfront rooms open directly onto the sand.

Dining Options

La Hacienda serves buffet breakfast (7:30-10:30) and dinner (18:30-21:30). Mai Tai Pool Bar offers all-day dining from 10:30 to 21:30, with children's menus. Lido Terrace provides seaside drinks and lunches. Soleil Bar has pool tables, sports screens, and evening mini-discos for kids. All outlets use local ingredients, including Lanzarote wines and cheeses.

The resort features a 25m heated pool with eight lanes for training, six additional pools, and a private beach with SUP/kayak rentals. I appreciated the super clean condition of my one-bedroom apartment upon arrival. The staff were helpful. The resort had pools right outside the villas. The pool bar included reasonable prices for food and drinks.

the rooms were spacious! super tidy. the reception staff were helpful and friendly. there is a good supermarket on site.

the shower was freezing all the time. the interior was dated and shabby. we only had one set of keys for our apartment. this wasted a lot of time.

A fine stay!

The shop on site has most things one might need. Our room included his-and-hers hand basins. It was nice. The hotel is showing its age but the staff work hard to keep it clean. I saw a large laned pool, and I think serious swimmers will be pleased.
